This update to our desktop personal finance app has the following changelog:

• Changes to Dropbox synchronisation for compatibility with JabpLite4
• Jabp.sync and JabpLite.sync now encrypted when using Sync function

Here is the changelog for the latest update to our Android personal finance app:

• Fixed bug which could bypass fingerprint authorisation when returning from background
• Set navigation bar at bottom of screen to black to match action bar colour (Android 9 defaulted navigation bar to white)
• Added New Value option when updating price in Investment View
• Added Menu button to access options from Regulars list
• Removed title from context menus (Preference “Android 2”) in views to allow more room for menu items and less scrolling
• Reduced width of context menus (“Android 2”) to display more of underlying view

• New preference: match description searches either start of text or anywhere in text
• GPHelper & GPWearHelper notifications no longer appear on lock screen (security measure)
• Sync to Jabp function now offers ability to launch Dropbox to refresh offline files

An update to our desktop personal finance app, with the following changes:

• Preferences screen improved with easier-to-read layout and further explanation of options

We have updated our helper application which creates pending transactions for JabpLite4 directly from Google Pay notifications. When you make a Google Pay payment on your watch, simply tap the notification to import the details into JabpLite4 on your mobile device. This update is compatible with the latest version of Wear OS based on Android 9 (Android Pie). GPWearHelper is included in the distribution zip for JabpLite4, along with instructions for installation and use.

Various minor enhancements and bug fixes for our Android personal finance software:

• Improvements to sync process to better handle situations where Dropbox mobile app is killed by Android OS
• Press ‘k’ in main views to show all keyboard shortcuts
• Added overall file size to Information dialog
• Fixed bug when recreating balances which would assign a transfer with missing account offset to category None; now assigned to category Transfer
• Fixed bug which would cause crash if selecting Home from action bar while displaying Import / Export menu

• Press CTRL+K or ‘k’ in main views to show all keyboard shortcuts
• Added overall file size to Information dialog
• Added ‘Sync to JabpLite’ option to File menu
• Allow Show screens to be scrolled
• Improvements to sync process to better handle situations where Dropbox mobile app is killed by Android OS
• Fixed bug when recreating balances which would assign a transfer with missing account offset to category None; now assigned to category Transfer
• Fixed bug where some messages could be displayed out of sequence
• Fixed bug where pressing ‘Cancel’ if opening an existing file didn’t cancel
