This happened because App Battery Stats uses some battery APIs that are normally reserved for system apps via a process which Android calls ‘reflection’. Of course, in practice App Battery Stats is 100% safe to use and, if you have already installed the app, you can absolutely continue to use it. But to avoid any doubt in the future, with regret we have decided to unpublish the app. Sorry for any inconvenience.
